Swift has been awesome so far. I started looking at a couple of different options for projects to work on. One would be fixing the inventory expiration issue in the freezer. I would make some sort of system for labeling items in the freezer and it would provide Swift with a better way to avoid having to fill out a bunch of paperwork when they get audited and they find something that should be there. Yes, that happened.

The other project I'm aware of so far is I could make an airfoil with foam by cutting using a NiChrome wire foam cutter. The way this works is the wire gets a certain amount of electricity passed through it to heat it up and melt the foam.

A lot of Swift's processes remind me of school. The way they go about solving problems is very similar, and they also reflect on what they could do better next time and what works well.

I can tell that Swift is all about taking ideas and making them come to life. They generally get some idea of what they want to build and then they come up with the process for building it.

I like your project idea, sounds like it would be very helpful to swift! We have similar freezer issues here at the lab that I'm working at.

What's your solution to the freezer issues, Ashley? Or is it something that hasn't been fixed yet?

You said that a lot of Swift's processes remind you of what you've done in school. Is project based learning something that has prepared you for this or have you just gotten those skills from your classmates?

Mark, I'd have to say both in regards to your question.

1.) Project based learning revolves around solving problems, building things, and generally applying what you know to the task at hand.

2.) Working with classmates at school has prepared me for working with other people on projects, which is crucial at Swift.
